(OG Model by Magicland with parts from Ben Neal) This unit right here may look like one of many E9 locomotives of the Southern Pacific,, but don’t let its appearance fool you, this is an E8, the only one built for the Southern Pacific, although apparently 28 more (including the first #6018) were meant to be built for the railroad, but alas, that order never went through.

 

Back to the E-unit, its service life consisted of (wait for it…) hauling passenger trains across the SP system, which it would gracefully do until 1967, where it would be retired and eventually cut up.
