New Haven R Class Mountains
One of the many steam engines of the New Haven, the R Class mountains were just one of the vast engines of the NH roster, often found hauling passenger trains or heavy freight trains.
The R-1s were USRA Light Mountains, and their R-1b cousins were based on them, but the R-2as had a more distinct design, being closer to New Haven Standards.
Unfortunately, like all of the other NH Steamers, dieselization took place, and all of these massive engines were retired by 1951.

(R-1s and R-1bs kitbashed from Ben Neal’s USRA 4-8-2, and R-2as made using Ben Neal’s 2-10-2 Source Files, with bells also from ben neal)
