A pretty obscure, but plentiful piece of rolling stock found on the Canadian Pacific during the 1920s-1950s, the Big Otis Gondola, these could be found across the system hauling various commodities, like Coke, Coal, and Gypsum, which this example right here represents for the Dominion Atlantic’s Gypsum service.

 

Unfortunately, despite there being over a thousand of these built, as far as I know, not a single one of these wood-sided gondolas have made it to preservation.
