This former Lehigh and Hudson River C420 sports a particularly interesting one-off paintscheme, which was the result of an employee at Bethlehem Shops not exactly getting the memo with the former L&HR C420s not being repainted, as this one ended up with Conrail Blue, with some rather crudely placed lettering.

 

Nonetheless, the engine remained like this until it was retired by 1978-1979, and was very likely scrapped soon after.
