ISRR 2-8-8-2s #20 and #21
(Model Originally made by Ben Neal)
One of the first Maple Leaf Depot releases, now back for 2026.
One of the largest pieces of motive power the Interstate Railroad owned were a pair of USRA Copy 2-8-8-2s #20 and #21, built in 1923 for the Guest River Gorge line, while relatively obscure, these articulateds served their worth hauling Coal Trains across the Appalachians of the Interstate.
They would be retired and scrapped by 1954 when diesels took over.
